Chemical formula of KBr potassium bromide sedative, antiepileptic and aphrodisiac effective, easily soluble in water is a white crystal salt. This substance is a wide anticonvulsant and has been widely used as a sedative after the 19th century. As with other potassium salts in high concentrations it can cause serious damage to the gastric mucosa after nausea.
